Living remote is harder than it should be. Not the work — the work travels fine. It's everything around it. Scrolling for hours because every kitchen table is a 'Dedicated workspace'. Somewhere we can call home through local experience. Finding our type of people in the new cities we land in.

Booking platforms weren't built for this. They're built for holidays: two nights, a pool, a late checkout. We book dynamically, keep office hours, and care just as much about the router as the view.

So we started checking places ourselves — speed tests, noise readings, photos of the actual chair. Then we started sharing the list. Then the list needed a map, and the map needed people on it, and the people wanted somewhere to train and something to do on a Thursday night.
